An award-winning journalist, spokesperson, TV personality, conference speaker, lifestyle expert and internationally recognized parenting author, Jeannette Kaplun is the founder of Hispana Global. With over 18 years of broadcast experience, she has appeared on The Steve Harvey ShowThe ChewGood Morning America, Despierta América, Un Nuevo Día, among other shows. Born in El Paso, Texas, and raised in Chile, Jeannette is equally comfortable working in English and Spanish. In 2014 mom.me recognized her as one of the top 50 mom bloggers.

Jeannette is the author of Todobebé: Todo lo que necesitas saber para el primer año de tu bebé (Rayo, 2006), blogs for Babble, and is a contributor for Ser Padres magazine, Moms Clean Air Force and other outlets. She was featured on LeanIn.org as well, is part of Talk Early’s parenting bloggers and is a Johnson & Johnson Social Influencer for Social Good.

A UN Social Good Fellow, she has also been a speaker at major conferences throughout the US, Mexico and Chile regarding content, social media, social good, entrepreneurship, work/life balance and online communities, including BlogHer, Blogalicious, EVO, LATISM, Blissdom, Hispanicize, Social Media Week Miami, SheStreams and SheCon. In May 2013, she was a guest speaker at the UN Foundation’s Mom+Social Global Summit and also moderated the Global Voices keynote at Mom 2.0 Summit.

In 1999, she cofounded Todobebé, and for 13 years served as Chief Content Officer. Jeannette co-hosted the Emmy-nominated Spanish-language network TV show ¡Viva la Familia! de Todobebé for four seasons on Univision and the also Emmy-nominated show Todobebé on Telemundo for four years. In 2010 the company received Portada´s Hispanic Digital and Print Media award as Top Content Provider to Hispanic Audiences and in 2006, the Canyon Ranch Institute Prevention Pioneer Award.

In 2012, Jeannette was one of the hosts for the Climate Reality Project’s live broadcast 24 Hours of Reality: The Dirty Weather Report, in which she interviewed Nobel Prize laureate and former Vice President Al Gore.

She is known as one of the leading Latina bloggers in the US and in May 2012 was invited to the White House as part of LATISM’s Top Blogueras Retreat. She began blogging about her pregnancy and motherhood in the early 2000’s, which makes her a true pioneer in the Latino/Hispanic blogging world.

Helena—aka Helenation—is, first and foremost, mom to an energetic son. She is Hispana Global’s Chicago correspondent and community manager. Originally from Venezuela, her childhood was spent between The Dominican Republic, Chile and Nicaragua. She studied screenwriting at Boston University and later moved to Lesotho, South Africa, where she held her first job as a TV producer. She then lived for over 13 years in sunny Miami, but recently traded the palm trees for windy Chicago. Diana Limongi-Gabriele is Hispana Global’s New York writer. She is a Latina New Yorker with proud Ecuadorian roots, married to a Frenchman. She is mommy to a three year old boy, Enzo. She and her husband are committed to raising their son, @babyenzog,  in a multi-lingual, multicultural world.

Diana works hard juggling a full-time job, motherhood, family, grad school and her blog, LadydeeLG, where she writes about issues she is passionate about: motherhood, teaching her son Spanish and French, Latino issues, good quality food and women’s rights. Diana is a contributor for Baby Center and is a member of MomsRising’s Good Food Force.

Sunny Chanel is Hispana Global’s West Coast contributor, based out of San Francisco, CA. She also contributes to Babble, Mom.me, Cafe Mom’s The Stir, Fandango Family Room and her own site SunnyChanel.com. When she’s not in front on her laptop, she is playing dress up or debating the importance of My Little Pony with her 8-year-old daughter. She’s obsessed with Disneyland, coffee, cheesy detective shows, cooking, and trying to get a good night’s sleep.
